AirVent Systems Ltd was formed off the back of Kiwi Heating and Insulation. After 25 years of visiting every home you could imagine and installing ventilation systems Peter Gillmore, Kiwi Heating and Insulation founder, identified a serious lack of technology in the ventilation sector. What was being promoted as home comfort was not that comfortable!

Pete sought help from Jason Dear, electronics/software technician and designer of 30 years, to design a system that would fit the needs of the average household without consuming much power and having minimal impact on the home environment while ventilating adequately. A system was developed over a couple of years, and installed in many homes for a long term trial.

When the time was right Pete and Jason welcomed Harley Dear, industrial airflow and ventilation engineer of 45 years (and Jason’s Dad), into the fold to take the newly formed company, AirVent Systems Ltd, to the next level. A market-ready product was designed and released, DualFlow (c). save
