Why so many fans in AirVent System’s Dual Flow?

Up to 8 fans can be used with a single controller enabling air to be delivered up to 6 areas in a home.

Multiple speed-controlled fans are used to ensure that the airflow to each area can precisely control air delivery to each area.

In a typical system 4 fans are dedicated to bringing in fresh air during the cooler months and 4 fans are used for extracting air via the same vents to assist with cooling of the home in the warmer months.

The flow of air in cooler months is different from the flow of air in warmer months. The two modes of flow is why we call it Dual Flow. In the cooler months you want to utilise roof cavity heat where possible by heat transfer. And in the warmer months you want just fresh air from outside without the heat from the roof cavity. Switching between the 2 modes of airflow is automatic, you won’t even know it’s happening, providing even temperature and condensation control over the entire year.
